The term "Midcentury modern" is a difficult term to define. It mainly describes the architecture, furniture, and graphic design from the middle of the 20th century (roughly 1933 to 1965, though some would argue the period is specifically limited to 1947 to 1957).

Mid-Century Modern style commonly utilizes crisp lines, geometric shapes, and furniture with tapered legs to bring an inviting look to traditional modern style. It also incorporates tweed & wood features while emphasizing specific pieces of furniture and decor with pops of color.
